Production Associate

Reports to: Production Manager

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Location: Henderson, CO 

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Physical Requirements: This is a very physical position. Incumbent must be able to stand on his/her feet all day, moving, lifting. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently and throughout the day. Incumbent must wear PPE including Chemical Splash Goggles, coveralls, gloves and steel toed shoes. 


The Production Associate is responsible for powder blending, liquid blending, making D-Foam, repackaging different chemicals, keeping their assigned areas clean and any other tasks as assigned. Candidate will be required to operate a forklift to ensure they are able to assist in various areas of Production.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:  

  • Repacking chemicals from totes/drums into pails and cases
  • Printing labels
  • Following mixing instructions to produce and package D-Foam
  • Following mixing instructions to produce powder and liquid chemicals
  • Taking product samples and ensuring the quality of D-Foam being made and packaged
  • Working safely in his/her areas
  • Communicating with supervisor to ensure documentation of process improvements
  • Helping to control inventory by ensuring accurate posting of batches and assisting with inventory cycle counting
  • Communicating maintenance needs to the supervisor
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions to produce products
  • Must be able to follow instructions to properly clean and sanitize drums and totes
  • Must be able to stand all day, lift up to 75 pounds frequently, move, bend, and manipulate machinery to blend chemicals
  • Must be able to correctly enter product information into computer system
  • Safely operate forklift and other warehouse equipment

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Must be at work and on time consistently
  • Forklift certification and/or training
  • Able to work in team environment
  • Working knowledge of computers
  • Speak, read, and write in English
